`Jungle Book'
Shown For Kids

The Young Adult Division of the
Jewish Federation will feature
The Jungle Book on March 13,
to conclude a series of topical,
international films.
There is no admission charge
for children to the 1 p.m. show-
ing at the Maple-Drake Jewish
Community Center.
A Walt Disney film, The
Jungle Book tells a story of
friendship through Mowgli, an
orphan boy raised by wolves,
who is encouraged by his ani-
mal friends to leave the jungle
before the return of Shere
Khan, the fearsome tiger.

The Jewish Community Center
and Nancy Gurwin present
"Broadway On Tour," a contin-
uing workshop designed to de-
velop the skills of individuals
with special needs.
Students will develop a char-
acter to be performed over a
number of class periods, work-
ing on voice, diction and drama-
tization. All students will
perform in a one-act play at the
end of the workshop and will
take their show to various Jew-
ish agencies.
The workshop will be held on
Wednesday evenings for 12
weeks. There is a charge. For

OCC Students
Ceramic Show

A ceramics show and sale by the
ceramic students of Oakland
Community College, Orchard
Ridge Campus will be held
March 24, 25 and 26 at Orchard
Mall, Maple and Orchard Lake
Roads, West Bloomfield.
The ceramics featured will be
either art or functional to
include raku, stoneware, earth-
enware, pit fire. The hours will
be: March 24-25, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.;
March 26, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
A raffle prize of a ceramic
piece by Robert Piepenberg will
be awarded.

For Vivace

The Vivace Series of the Birm-
ingham Temple will present
Collage, the chamber music
quintet, 7:30 p.m. March 20 at
temple.
The musicians will perform
Schubert's "Trout Quintet."
