Mayer Meier, whose mixed-me-
dia figures evoke man's primi-
tive past. Whimsical handbuilt
doll furniture by Missouri artist
Norma Malerich may be of par-
ticular interest to doll collectors.
This furniture will be shown
with a new grouping of the
artist's painted fiber dolls.
The gallery is located in Suite
104 of the Fisher Building.
Gallery hours are Monday-Fri-
day 10-6, Saturday 11-5, with
extended hours on Fisher The-

Kol Ami Plans
Art Auction

Original paintings, watercolors
and hand-signed limited edi-
tion graphic works of art by
more than 40 artists will be sold
at a fine art auction sponsored
by Temple Kol Ami.
The fundraiser March 12 will
begin with an hors d'oeuvre pre-
view at 7 p.m., followed by the
auction at 8 p.m. The event will
be held at Temple Kol Ami.
There is an admission charge.
The works to be auctioned in-
clude original etchings, en-
gravings, lithographs and
woodcuts by Cezanne, Chagall,
Dali, Durer, Erte, Goya, Miro,
Picasso and Rembrandt. In ad-
dition, there will be a selection
of 19th century Japanese wood-
cuts by Hiroshige II, Kunichi-
ka and Toyokuni
