Gooch Exhibit
At Robert Kidd
An exhibition of new paintings
by Peter Gooch at Robert Kidd
Gallery continues through April
2. An opening reception to meet
the artist will be held 3 to 6 pm.
March 5.
This exhibition is a culmina-
tion of Gooch's Florentine paint-
ings, abstracted from his
memories of tiled piazzas,
carved sarcophagi, ornate reli-
gious icons and early Renais-
sance altar-pieces.
Gooch is a professor of art at
the University of Dayton.
Holocaust Event
For YAD Division
The Jewish Federation Young
Adult Divison will present a
personal perspective on the
Holocaust 7:45 p.m. March 9 at
the Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.
Saul Raimi, a Holocaust sur-
vivor, will share his thoughts at
the YAD Cultural/Political
Awareness program, which is
open to all young adults in the
community.
Tours of the Holocaust
Memorial Center will be con-
ducted prior to the program.
