The sisterhood of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek will mark its
14th Annual Sisterhood Sab-
bath 9 a.m. Jan. 8, celebrating
89 years of service to the syna-
gogue.
Rusty Rosman, sisterhood
president, will address the con-
gregation. Torah readers in-
clude: Debbie Balkin, Marlene
Margolis, Ellen Labes, Marge
Saulson, Ruthe Goldstein, Mar-
cia Boxman, Karen Katz, Judy
Blumeno, Ronnie Tischler, Miri-
am Goldberg. Maftir will be
chanted by Arline Rein, and
.Haftorah by Raquel Gershon.

Beth El Hosts
Sports Night

Temple Beth El Brotherhood's
annual sports night will be 6 pm.
Jan. 17 at the temple. The event
will feature Ken Levy, a former
world-ranked kickboxer and cur-
rent fitness leader, demonstrat-
ing his new creation Kick-
boxercise. Mr. Levy and his
students will invite members of
the audience to participate.
Children, parents and grand-
parents will be able to play
games, compete for prizes and
share a light meal. There is a cost
