Museum Tours
Are Planned
Deanna Sperka, artist and lec-
turer, will conduct museum and
gallery tours this winter.
Two series are offered Thurs-
day mornings, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The third is a series of three full-
day visits to near-by cities of
Flint, Toledo, and Lansing on
Jan. 12, 26 and Feb. 9. The vis-
its will include museums and
galleries in Flint and Toledo,
and the State of Michigan Li-
brary art collection and an artist
studio in lancing. Car pools will
be available and alternative
dates will be arranged in case
of bad weather.

Marriage
Workshop Set
On Jan. 15, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
the Birmingham Temple will
sponsor a workshop "Making
Intercultural Marriage Work,"
for Jews and non-Jews.
Led by Rabbi Sherwin Wine
and social worker Judith
Schneider, the workshop will
focus on several areas. There is
a charge which includes lunch

Hold Dinner
The B'nai B'rith Banisters Unit
will present its 16th Annual Ju-
dicial Recognition Dinner 6 p.m.
Jan. 24 at Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue. All newly elected and ap-
pointed judges in the Wayne,
Oakland and Macomb County
Circuit and Probate Courts, as
well as the local District Courts,
the Michigan Court of Appeals
and the United States District
Court will be honored.
Justice Conrad J. Mallett Jr.
will be the speaker for the
evening.
