The British farce No Sex Please,
We're British will be the Grosse
Pointe Theatre second offering
of its 46th season. The show will
open Jan. 19 and will run each
evening through Jan. 29, with
the exception of Jan. 24.
New this season, Grosse
Pointe Theatre will present a
Sunday afternoon matinee 2
p.m. Jan. 23.
Performances are at 8 p.m.
except Jan. 23, with shows at 2
p.m. and 7 p.m. The show will
be performed at Fries Audito-
rium in the Grosse Pointe War
Memorial, 32 Lakeshore in
Grosse Pointe Farms.
The War Memorial also of-
fers a candlelight buffet dinner
before most performances. For

The Detroit Friends of the Jew-
ish Theological Seminary will
honor Mr. Max Shaye following
morning services Jan. 9 at Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek. Mr.
Shaye will be presented with
a specially designed talit and
talit bag as a member of the
Chairmen's Circle which rec-
ognizes major supporters of the
Seminary's annual fund rais-
ing. Following the presentation
there will be a brunch.
Mr. Shaye has been a leader
in communal activities as well
as an active member of Shaarey
Zedek. Besides his business and
communal activities, Mr. Shaye
is an accomplished artist with
his paintings found in many pri-
vate and public collections.
