"Bringing Biblical Women To
Life," a four-week course, will
take place Jan. 19, 26, Feb. 2, 9
at 12:30 p.m. at Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center.
This course will be taught by
Elissa Berg, religious school di-
rector of Temple Kol Ami, and
is open to members and non-
members. There is a charge.

The Metropolitan Kashruth
Council of Michigan has issued
its Directory of Kosher Foods
for 1994. The directory lists
hundreds of products certified
kosher by the council.
The directory is available at
Borenstein's Book and Music
Store, Spitzer's Hebrew Book
Store, American Bulk Food
Store and Esther's Judaica. It
may also be gotten directly from
the council office, 6533 Post Oak
Drive, West Bloomfield. There
is a charge.

B'rith will deliver holiday meals
to the elderly Dec. 25. For in-

New Immigrants
Meet At Machon
Machon L'Torah will hold a pro-
gram for new immigrants 7:30
p.m. Dec. 26. The program will
include a discussion led by Rab-
bi Avraham Jacobovitz, direc-
tor of Machon. The topic of the
lecture is "The Ultimate Dilem-
ma: To Assimilate or ReJewve-
nate." Refreshments will be
served. There is no charge.
