the Learning Center. Rabbi
Avraham Jacobovitz, director
of the Jewish Learning Net-
work, will lead a discussion on
"Rituals: Can Rites Be Wrongs?'
which will be followed by re-
freshments.

Machon L'Torah will pay trib-
ute to Dr and Mrs. Phillip
Friedman at their sixth annu-
al Chanukah concert 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 12 at West Bloomfield
High School.
The "Evening of Jewish Mu-
sic" will feature, from Israel, the
singing group Kol Achai made
up of three brothers, Yitzchok,
Yossie and Boaz Goldshmid.
They will be accompanied by
Avraham Fried.
Dr. and Mrs. Friedman are
members of Congregation
Shomrei Emunah. Dr. Fried-
man, a past president of Yeshi-
va Beth Yehudah, is chief of
neurosurgery at Sinai Hospital
and is on staff at Beaumont
Hospital.
