Laurie earned a bachelor of
arts degree at Muhlenberg Col-
lege and a juris doctor degree
at the University of Detroit
School of Law. She is an attor-
ney with Vandeveer Garzia in
Birmingham. Emil earned a
bachelor of arts degree in ac-
counting at Michigan State
University. He is a certified
public accountant with Tama
and Budaj in Farmington Hills.
A June wedding is planned.

Serlin-Green
Lauren Jill Serlin and Freder-
ick Reuben Green were recently
married at the Hyatt Regency
Hotel in Dearborn. Rabbi Paul
Yedwab of Temple Israel offici-
ated.
The bride is the daughter of
Arnold and Phyllis Serlin of
West Bloomfield and Thomas
and Margot McPhillips of Oak
Park. The groom is the son of
Howard and Linda Green and
Ann Falk, all of Farmington
Hills.
Andrea Serlin, the bride's sis-
ter, was maid of honor. Brides-
maids included Michele Miner,
Alicia Erlich, Lisa Hart and
Stacey Welford. The best man
was Ross Green, brother of the
groom. Groomsmen were Dan
Hommes, Mark Jeross, Todd
Roshak and Mark Wisnieski.
Also participating in the
ceremony were the bride's
grandmother, Ida Serlin, and
the groom's grandparents,
Harry and Beulah Falk and
Rebecca Green.
Following a honeymoon in
St. John, the couple reside in
Northville.
