ily Shabbat dinner 6:15 p.m.
Dec. 10 at the synagogue. New
members will be honored.
The cost of the dinner will in-
clude a contribution to Mazon
— the Jewish response to
hunger. Also, there will be en-
tertainment and storytelling for
children.

Congregation Beit Kodesh of
Livonia will hold an adult
Chanukah worship 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 1 at the synagogue. This
will be the first of a new month-
ly series that will combine edu-
cational and social pro-
gramming to address Jewish
tradition and enhance holiday
celebrations.
Traditional music and re-
freshments will be part of the
evening, as well as dreidel
games. Chanukah gift shop
