..FROM THE WAREHOUSE
On October 16, 1993, EDS employees in the metropolitan Detroit area pooled their
resources and organized a toy drive on behalf of Resettlement Service. This project was
part of "Days of Caring," a volunteer service project of the United Way for Southeastern
Michigan. This is the first time that all EDS employees around the world have partici-
pated in a company-wide community service activity. Resettlement Service is honored to
have been one of the two beneficiary of this effort. The toys will be given to new
American children who have recently immigrated to the Detroit area.
MANY THANKS TO EDS!
Thanks to the generosity of our Jewish community, the warehouse continues to provide
new Americans with household items and furniture in good repair. If you are interested in
donating to the warehouse, please contact Susan Ulanoff, Donations Liaison at 559-4566.
As always, we thank you for your help and kindness.

INVEST IN YOUR JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE,
BECOME A FRIEND OF THE FAMILY
"Last year alone, Jewish Family Service
served over 3,600 individuals and fami-
lies, helping people cope with all kinds of
personal and family problems," said Brent
Triest, JFS Vice President and Chairman
of the 1993 Friends of the Family
Campaign.
These clients were fortunate not to have
been turned away by the agency due to
lack of funding. The agency receives
requests daily for emergency financial
assistance, food and shelter for the unem-
ployed and homeless, marital counseling,
services such as Meals-On-Wheels,
Homemaker Services, In-Home Respite
Care and other programs.
Jewish Family Service initiated the
Friends of the Family campaign in 1991.
