Shabbat Services
for Singles
The Reform and Conservative Congregations of the Metropoli-
tan Detroit area are proud to announce the 1993-94 series of
monthly Shabbat Services for Jewish Singles. If you are a single
Jew in the Detroit community, please join us for Shabbat Ser-
vices. Services begin on Friday evenings at 8:30 p.m. and are
followed by an Oneg Shabbat, featuring a speaker and program.

party will feature a dj.
Hillel and the Jewish Stu-
dent Union will co-sponsor the
program Common Ground, an
Israeli political simulation game
with New York facilitator David
Baum 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 in the
MSU Union.
The Religious committee will
sponsor the first of its series
"Theophobia: Why Do Jews
Fear Judaism?" 8:00 p.m. Nov.
4 in Case Hall.

Sexuality in the 90's
Dr. Sylvia Hacker is an associate professor at the University
of Michigan, with a double appointment in the Schools of
Nursing and Public Health. She is an internationally known
consultant on human sexuality.
Dr. Hacker is a frequent guest on radio and television, includ-
ing appearances on NBC's show for teenagers, "Main Street,"
with Maria Schriver, and the Phil Donahue show. Her book,
What Teenagers Really Want to Know about Sex was just
released on August 1, 1993.
