Campaign Sets
Phonathons

Dozens of women will be reach-
ing out to hundreds of Detroi-
ters in a series of phonathons
on behalf of the Allied Jewish
Campaign later this month.
Volunteers for the Jewish
Federation Women's Division
Koach phonathons will address
the needs of many recently un-
employed people, seniors and
others at risk who look to Fed-
eration's helping agencies for
assistance. The Campaign also
supports Jewish educational
programs for children, families
and adults, and helps Israel re-
settle the hundreds of thou-
sands of Jews who continue to
leave the former Soviet Union.
The Koach phonathons,
which are organized by Carol
Zarnler, chairperson, and Car-
ole Aaron, Rose Rita Goldman
and Barbara Nemer, associate
chairpersons, will be held 9
a.m.-noon Oct. 17, 24, and 6-9
p.m. Nov. 1.
