Plan Year

Temple Emanu-El's youth
groups will kick off their school
year with a trip to Tiger Stadi-
um, meeting at the temple
11:30 a.m Sept. 19.
JETS, the Junior Emanu-El
Teen Society, is open to sixth
through eighth grade students
who are members of Temple
Emanu-El. Upcoming events in-
clude a sukkah decorating par-
ty, Mitzvah Day, and the
annual conclave with the junior
youth group of Temple Beth
Emet in Evanston, Ill.
Temple Emanu-El Temple
Youth (TEMTY) is open to all
ninth through twelfth grade
students, regardless of temple
membership. TEMTY partici-
pates in the synagogue's chil-
dren's High Holy Day services,
as well as other social and re-
ligious activities. TEMTY is a
member of the Michigan State
Temple Youth (MSTY).
