WITH PROJECT DISCOVERY Second Semester 1993/94

Religious School
Programming

Detroit High School Program in Israel - fully accredited by American high schools
Limited spots are available for students with above average scholastic standing.

The Beth Achim branch of the
Congregational Religious
School will sponsor several
events for the school year.
On Sept. 26 the students will
have a sukkah decorating party.
Students will visit the syna-
gogue's sukkah Oct. 3, 4. Nov.
7 and 14 will mark the school's
visit to the Book Fair at the
Jewish Community Center. A
Chanukah program will take
place Dec. 12. A Tu B'Shevat
seder will be held Jan. 26 and
March 20 will mark the annual
model Pesach seder.
This year, students will high-
light their activities in a school
newspaper. In addition there
will be a Jewish Awareness
class for parents conducted by
Rabbi Martin Berman.

Congregation Beth Achim's
youth department will have
their annual sukkah decorat-
ing and building Sept. 26.
Lahav U.S.Y. (high school age)
will begin building the sukkah
at 10 a.m. The rest of the youth
department is asked to join the
festivities at 1 p.m. by making
decorations for the sukkah.
There will be a free lunch

Yom Kippur
Youth Service

The Temple Shir Shalom Youth
Group will conduct a Yom Kip-
pur Youth Service 3 p.m. Sept.
25 at West Bloomfield High
School.
