Apples and Honey and Lots,
Lots More program is head-
ing for the wilds.
In preparation for the
autumn holidays, the after-
noon session of food, activi-
ties and learning has left its
former location of the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center for Camp
Maas in Ortonville.
Pre-teens can
make a shofar or a
book of quotes.
Tun' Program
At Library
Sylvia Ruback will present a
program, "Life Can Be More
Fun at Any Age," 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Sept. 15 at the Farmington
Branch Library auditorium.

Sundays, the program,
which is being touted as the
"ultimate," will include new
options like hayrides and
canoeing. In addition, for-
mer activities like candle
making, dipping and rolling
with the Bee Man Joel
Letvin, sukkah raising and
holiday cooking also will be
available.
The entire afternoon is
free, but pre-registration is
required for shofar making,
drilling and sanding of
cleaned rams' horns; and
the Book of Life project, cre-
ating an accordion book of
quotes and art by youth 11
years and older.
Barbecue lunches and
sukkah kits will be sold.
Information about tashlich,
the symbolic tossing of sins
into a body of water, will be
included while canoeing.
Rain or shine, JEFF and
co-sponsors the Fresh Air
Society and The Jewish
News expect about 500 per-
sons.

showcasing this camp," said
