Senior Events

Nancy Gad-Harf of Temple
Israel will facilitate a discus-
sion on "Intermarriage and
the Changing Jewish Fami-
ly" 1 p.m. Sept. 20 at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center. There is a
charge for non-members. The
program will be sign
interpreted.
Yiddish, Hebrew and
English melodies will be
played by violinist Sid Mann

Ethel Levine Krause,
photographer, will present
slides and a narrative on
Egypt 1 p.m. Sept. 22. There

Docent Joyce LeBan will
lead a tour of the art in the
stations of the People Mover

Holiday Services

High Holiday services for
unaffiliated senior adults will
be offered at the Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Jewish Communi-
ty Center at 6:45 p.m. Sept.
15, 9 a.m., 6:45 p.m. Sept. 16,
9 a.m. Sept. 17; and Sept. 24
at 6:45 p.m. and Sept. 25 9:15
a.m.
The modern traditional ser-
vices will be conducted with
Dr. Joseph Lewis serving as
cantor. Tickets may be pur-
chased at the JPM box office.

JPM Seniors
Plan Events

Jack Leve will teach line dan-
cing classes every Tuesday at
1 p.m. at the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Jewish Community
Center. Tickets for the six-
week series can be pm-chased
at the JPM box office.
Richard Berg will tell High
Holiday tales about his fami-
ly's precious Jewish objects.
Everyone will be invited to
share stories about a family
treasure (candlesticks, tallit,
etc.). Apples and honey will be
served 1 p.m. Sept. 23.
