Under the chairmanship.of Kathleen Wilson Fink, the Detroit Friends of Bar-Van's
Young Leadership Circle organized a dinner tour of the Carail Museum, the state's
collection of antique cars and model trains. General Yehuda Halevy, Bar-Han
University's executive vice president, discussed Bar-Ilan and other facets of Israeli
political and social life. Shown are Dr. Mark Diem and Beverly Liss, dinner
chairmen; Ms. Fink and Gen. Halevy.

Frieda S. Leemon of Boca Raton and Detroit. Also shown are Harriet Green of
Coral Gables, national president of Na'amat USA; and Masha Lubelsky, Israel
Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry. Mrs. Leemon, a past national president of
Na'amat USA, dedicated the room in memory of her parents.

ple Beth El Nursery's
Alphabet Soup kindergarten
enrichment program.
This new addition will be of-
fered Tuesdays and/or
Thursdays 9 a.m.-noon or
12:15-3:15 p.m. Both the mor-
ning and afternoon sessions
will include lunch.
Classes will begin Sept. 14
and continue through June 3.
They are open to children of
both temple members and
non-members.

Chabad Center
Plans Classes

Bais Chabad Ibrah Center
will offer a high school pro-
gram from September
through January. Classes are
held on Tuesday and Thurs-
day evenings at the lbrah
Center.
Courses will include:
Jewish history, Chumash,
conversational Hebrew and
Talmud study.
The classes are open to all
students regardless of
synagogue affiliation. For in-
formation, call the Torah

Rabbi Elimelech Silberberg
will deliver a lecture at the
Torah Center 8:15 p.m. Aug.
