Beth Achim Plans
For Anniversary

September 12 will mark
the 25th anniversary of
• Congregation Beth Achim,
which was a merger of
Congregation Beth Aaron
• and Ahavas Achim.
To mark this occasion,
the synagogue will host
special events and pro-
grams. The kick-off event
will take place 1 p.m.
Sept. 12 with a Nancy
Gurwin production of
Broadway Then and Now.
A champagne and dessert
bar reception will follow
the show.
On Nov. 13 a special
Shabbat service will be
dedicated to the men's
club, sisterhood and
1 Young At Heart for 25
years of service. This will
be followed buy a brunch
• - Nov. 14.
On March 13 there will
• be a music fest; an
evening of elegance on
May 22 will conclude the
; festivities.
The chairpersons for
-the 25th anniversary cele-
bration are Abe Friedman
and Dr. Manuel Feldman.
