ounders Junior Council
of the Detroit Institute
of Arts will celebrate
its annual Fash Bash 8
p.m. Aug. 4 at the Fox
Theatre. Hudson's will pro-
vide a unique fashion show
and donate $30,000 to the
DIA. The internationally-
known tap dancing duo,
"Hot Foot," will entertain at
the event. These an-
nouncements were made at a
press party July 7 at the
DIA.
There will be an auction
preceding the event for
patron ticket holders. Some
of the items include: A new
Chrylser LHS sports sedan;
his and her Breitling wat-
ches from Jules R. Schubot
Jewellers; use of a castle in
Italy plus airfare; use of a
spectacular beachfront villa
in St. Martin and airfare
from' Continental Airlanes
for eight people, com-
pliments of Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Brodie.
Some of the DIA sup-
porters at the press party in-
cluded: Brian and Michelle
Schubot, Doug and Sydell
Schubot, Peter and
Carolyn Levin and
Jonathan Holtzman.
Tickets for Fash Bash are
either $25, $35 or $100.

DIA, Hudson's, Ticket-
master and the Fox. For

JET RAFFLE

Dr. Allen Lewis Hayes is
the winner of the Jewish
Ensemble Theatre's 1993
raffle. He accepted his check
for $5,000 from JET Presi-
dent Byrant M. Frank.
The winning ticket was
drawn at the closing perfor-
mance of the season's final
show, The Square Root of
Three.

CORPORATE MACKER

This year there will be a new
and exciting division to the
Oakland University/Gus
Macker 3-on-3 Basquetball
Tournament. The tourna-
ment will include the Cor-
porate Macker, where busi-
nesses can challenge one an-
other on the court.
Sponsored by Crain's
Detroit Business, the Cor-
porate Macker will played
on Aug. 28. Michael
Kramer of the law firm
Kramer Mellen is already
practicing for the event. All
proceeds go to the Oakland
University Athletic
Department. To register
