quite pleased at the results
of our fund-raising efforts,"
said Fedora Horowitz, ar-
tistic director of the Lyric
Chamber Ensemble.
Some patrons at the event
included: Avrum Horowitz,
Alice Gilbert, Marilyn
Habsburg, Belle Kukes,
Bunny Goldman Krat-
chman, Michael Krat-
chman and Irene and
Alan Loss. Young students
will have the opportunity to
attend the Tollgate 4-H Edu-
cation Center in Novi this
summer. The center is a co-
operative extension service
of Michigan State Univer-
sity.
The musical performance
at the Cohen home for this
event included: Philip
Payton, a Univerity of
Michigan student and LCE
youth award winner,
Fedora Horowitz, Jospeh
Gurt, Earnestine
Nimmons, Valerie Yova
and Marcy Chanteaux.

The Royal Oak women
retailers invite you to help
with another shopping spree
beginning at 5:30 June 10,
where 10 percent of the eve-
ning sales will be donated to
the Haven, a non-profit
shelter for abused women.
There will also be an oppor-
