National Honor Society, Phi
Beta Kappa, Scholars Plus
and editor of his school news-
paper. He is a varsity wrest-
ler, a regional and executive
board member of BBYO, and
a flutist in the University of
Michigan Youth Band. He
will study political science
and international affairs at
George Washington Univer-
sity on a Presidential Aca-
demic Scholarship.

Pasik was ranked nationally
in foil and teaches fencing
both at Roeper and the Fenc-
ing Academy of Michigan.
She has received honors in
her French studies and com-
peted in forensics in the

laude, is a member of Na-
tional Honor Society and Phi
Beta Kappa. She was captain
of varsity porn pon, a member
of BBG and DECA, became a
finalist at DECA Nationals in
California junior year, per-
formed in Vaudeville, and was
actively involved in USY
locally and regionally. She
will attend the University of
Michigan.

Michaels, summa cum
laude, is a member of the Na-
tional Honor Society and has
been recognized by Phi Beta
Kappa. For three years she
was involved in yearbook, this
year as an editor. She par-
ticipated in softball four years
and pom pon three years. She
was captain for both. She is a
nominee for the U-M Regents
Scholar Merit Award and
plans to attend the Universi-
ty of Michigan to pursue a
career in medicine.

Newman is second-vice
president of Michigan Region
AZA, a member of National
Honor Society, involved in
soccer, karate and basketball.
He was a League of Jewish
Women's Organizations hon-
oree, Maccabi Games partici-
pant, and plans to attend the
University of Michigan.

Oliver, summa cum laude,
Phi Beta Kappa and National
Honor Society member, was
the editor in chief of her
school news magazine for the
past two years. She won two
National Quill and Scroll, two
Great Lakes, two Michigan
Interscholastic Press Associa-
tion and five Detroit Free
Press writing contest awards.
She was a BBG member and
participated in the March of
the Living. She will attend
the University of Michigan.

Farmington Harrison

Raimi won Student of the
Month, MIPA journalism,
and Boys State runner-up
awards. He was co-editor of
the school newspaper, secre-
tary of National Honor Soci-
ety and two-year member of
the tennis team. He volun-
teered at 52nd District Court
and was president of his AZA
chapter. He will attend the
University of Michigan.

Southfield-Lathrup

Rosenbaum is president of
the Madrigal Singers and
Thespian Troupe 219. She is
in Class Act, National Honor
Society, Scholars Plus and
Humanities Club. She has
had lead roles in school plays,
and recently appeared in A
Little Night Music at the
Jewish Community Center.
She plans to major in theater
and psychology at the Univer-
sity of Pittsburgh where she
has been named a University
Scholar.

Southfield

Salinger is a member of the
National Honor Society and
Scholars Plus, played varsity
tennis and was a section
editor of the yearbook. She
participated in school plays
and stage crew and was active
in SADD, BBG and Habonim.
She received a WMU Medal-
lion Scholarship and will
attend the Lee Honors Col-
lege at Western Michigan
University.

Roeper

Scaglione is Michigan State
Temple Youth religious and
cultural vice president and
received the MSTY Founders
Scholarship Award for $1,000.
He is a NFTY vice president-
elect. He is an elected student
member of the Roeper board
of trustees, a member of stu-
dent government, was in-
volved in theater, varsity
track and the Model United
Nations team where he
received four awards for best
delegate. He will attend the
University of Michigan.
