Howard Babcock is the
Man of The Year for the
Children's Leukemia Foun-
dation Of Michigan, a cause
he took on privately after
the disease took the life of a
friend, the late Jill Freed-
man. He was honored at a
recent CLFM luncheon.
At the end of 1992, he ask-
ed his partners at Worldwide
Financial Services to con-
tribute a percentage of
profits earned on home loans
to the charity.
Says partner Andy
Jacob, "He's been so quiet
about this that for a while,
only the partners knew.
We're all really proud of
Howard." El
