iffany & Co. in the
Somerset Collection
recently hosted a
cocktail party to
preview table settings by
Mrs. Paul Borman and
Mrs. Richard Kughn for
the upcoming Henry Ford
Museum and Greenfield
Village's Village Antique
Show and Sale May 7-9.
Mrs. Borman's table set-
ting revolves around tradi-
tion and her family. Photos
of her family are on the
table, and on the chair she
displays her grandmother's
tablecloth. Mrs. Kughn's
setting includes an antique
mechanical bank from her
collection. The china pattern
is Audubon and the tea ser-
vice is from the American
Garden collection. Nigo-
sian's provided the Oriental
rug underneath the table.
The settings will be on
display until May 17 at Tif-
fany & Co. Some of the sup-
porters at the Tiffany party
included: Charles Col-
eman, Tiffany vice presi-
dent, Marianne Schwartz,
John Bloom, Gloria and
Bill Gilbert, Doug and
Sydell Schubot.
At the Village Antique
Show and Sale more than 40
of the nation's top antique
dealers will be at Lovett
Hall, adjacent to the muse-
um. There is also a patron
evening gala on May 6. Pro-
ceeds from the event support
the educational programs of
Henry Ford Museum &
Greenfield Village. For more
information contact the mu-
seum at 271-1620, ext. 214.
