One of the most significant
exhibits this winter is at the
Ft. Lauderdale Museum of
Art. Corot to Cezanne is an
exhibit of 19th-century
French paintings on loan
from New York's Metropoli-
tan Museum of Modern Art.
It continues to April 11.
Art Spiegelman's Maus
Comics (on the subject of the
Holocaust) will be at Ft.
Lauderdale's Museum of Art
until April 11.
A show on Russian pain-
ting, 1900-1940, opened at the
Bass Museum March 1.
Israeli artist Moshe Michaan
will have a show at the
Patricia Judith Gallery (Boca
Raton) through April 4.
Do not miss the Holocaust
Memorial in Miami Beach,
with its 42-foot bronze
sculpture. It is a place for
remembrance and quiet com-
templation that should be
visited by everyone.
An abundance of kosher
dining facilities can be found
along Collins Avenue in
Miami Beach. Jerusalem
Peking, at the Days Inn (42nd
Street), Yosi Peking, at the
Eden Roc (45th Street), and
Peking Tower Suite (41st
Street) serve Chinese cuisine.
Kikor Tel Aviv (50th Street)
has international cuisine, and
Guiseppe Goldberg (31st
Street) serves Italian food.
This is only a partial list of
the restaurants along the
Beach. Sara's Dairy Restau-
rant, to the north, away from
the Beach and newly
decorated, is well worth a
visit.
Singles can check the Palm
Beach Jewish World's singles
section, which lists programs
for both young and mature
singles. Faces, a Jewish young
singles group (ages 21-39)
holds monthly parties
throughout Dade and Bro-
ward counties. A new Jewish
secular singles group has just
formed in South Florida. For

A free weekend shuttle bus
is now operating between
Miami Beach and downtown
Miami. It covers the Art Deco
district and Ocean Drive in
Miami Beach, as well as
Bayside and the Omni com-
