Victorian Parlor evening 7:30
p.m. Feb. 16 at Maple-Drake.
Michael Bryce will lead a ,
journey of music, humor, story
and song of the 19th century,
performed in costume and iZ
the style of the Victorian
Parlor Evening. The setting
will be the Janice Charach-
Epstein Museum Gallery.
An afterglow will follow.

Temple Beth El
Hosts Joe Strouu

Joe Stroud, editor of the

Detroit Free Press, will be the

speaker at a noon Feb. 22 lun-
cheon of the Temple Beth El
Sisterhood.
Prior to his appointment as
editor of the Free Press in
1973, he had been associate
editor since 1968. A five-time
recipient of the William Allen
White Award for editorial ex-
cellence, he was a 1982
finalist in the Pulitzer Prize
competition and a 1984
honoree in the Associated
Press Award competition for
editorial excellence.
He will speak on "President
Clinton ad the Middle East."
There is a charge.

B'nai David
Lunch Program

B'nai David Sisterhood will
have a general meeting and
luncheon noon Feb. 22 at the
synagogue.
Alice Blumberg will sing in
