Temple Beth El Hosts Joe Strouu Joe Stroud, editor of the Detroit Free Press, will be the speaker at a noon Feb. 22 lun- cheon of the Temple Beth El Sisterhood. Prior to his appointment as editor of the Free Press in 1973, he had been associate editor since 1968. A five-time recipient of the William Allen White Award for editorial ex- cellence, he was a 1982 finalist in the Pulitzer Prize competition and a 1984 honoree in the Associated Press Award competition for editorial excellence.
