Amy Handelman, 9, is in
love. With Elvis.
Amy lives in West Bloom-

field with her parents and
two sisters. She is a student
at Doherty Elementary and
a member of Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Her Hebrew
name is Ilana Rachel.
When not thinking about
Elvis, Amy considers her fu-
ture. She hopes one day to be
"a kindergarten teacher or a
veterinarian or a poet or an
author." She's taking bas-
ketball lessons and can't wait
