Needed Dec. 25

Space is available for
extra help in the Jewish
Federation's Dec. 25 vol-
unteer event.
After 9:00 a.m. break-
fast at the Max M. Fisher
Building, volunteers will
go to their pre-determined
assignments. They
include: the Jewish Home
for Aged's three locations;
Sinai Hospital; Simon
House, a transitional
home for women with
AIDS and their children;
Turning Point, a shelter
for victims of domestic
violence and their chil-
dren; Jewish Federation
Apartments in Oak Park;
and the Baldwin Human
Services Center and St.
Leo's Parish soup
kitchens.
Groups also will help
prepare and serve lunch
at St. Leo's Parish Soup
Kitchen, 15th St. and
Grand River in Detroit;
Baldwin Human Services
Center in Pontiac; Simon
House; and Turning Point
in Macomb County.
Participants are encour-
aged to bring kosher
canned food in support of
Yad Ezra, the communi-
ty's kosher food bank.

Youth Shabbat

Congregation Shaarey Zedek

Shabbat Dec. 19. Students in

readings, davening, aliyot,
