Campaign Seeks
Contributions

Thirteen days remain for
Allied Jewish Campaign
Contributors to help
Jewish people in Detroit
and Israel and take tax
advantage of their gifts
this year. All cash gener-
ated will help the Jewish
Federation pay current
commitments to the
United Jewish Appeal and
local agencies.
Campaign, Operation
Exodus and other pay-
ments made to Federation
through Dec. 31, will be
tax deductible for 1992.
A portion of the contri-
butions to Detroit's
Campaign will go to UJA
and the American Jewish
Joint Distribution
Committee for assistance
to Jewish people in dozens
of countries and Israel.
Aid for new immigrants
in Israel and the United
States helps settle them
with basic furnishings,
initial living expenses,
language classes, job
retraining, day care and
educational programs for
children with learning
