At B'nai Moshe
The Adult Education Com-
mittee of B'nai Moshe will
host lecturer, film and theater
critic Professor Yaakov
iVIalkin at a lunch and learn
1 p.m. Nov. 14 at the syna-
gogue.
Professor Malkin, professor
at Tel Aviv University, will
speak on "The Conflict Bet-
ween God, Israel and the
Bible."
Professor Malkin was the
director of the Underground
Haganah Broadcasting Net-
work in 1947-48 and, in 1958,
founded and directed the
Rothschild Community Cen-
ter in Haifa, Israel, which
was the first Community Arts
and Cultural Center in Israel.
He was also the founder and
director of the Hagefen Arab
Jewish Community Center,
which- was also the first of its
kind in Israel.
This event is co-sponsored
by the Midrasha College of
Jewish Studies. The public is
invited at no charge. To at-
tend the lunch, there will be

The Beth Achim Adult
Education lunch and learn
series will present a Sabbath
lunch and study program
Nov. 14 after services with
Rabbi Martin J. Berman of
Congregation Beth Achim, on
sexual harassment B.C.E.
Reservations are required.

Achim Adult Education
Series include Talmud classes
Mondays 7:30-8:30 p.m. and
the lunch and learn series
Tuesdays 12:15-1:30 p.m.
