The Michigan Board of Rab-
bis, in cooperation with The
Jewish News, will co-sponsor
its first annual series of
monthly singles Shabbat ser-
vices. Each month, a different
congregation will host a ser-
vice, followed by an Oneg
Shabbat and program.
The first service will be 8:30
p.m. Nov. 6 at Temple Israel.
Dr. Sonya Friedman will
speak after services. Dr.
Friedman is a clinical
psychologist.
The schedule of singles
shabbat services is: Dec. 11,
Shaarey Zedek; Jan. 15, Tem-
ple Kol Ami; Feb. 12, B'nai
Moshe; March 12, Temple
Shir Shalom; April 9, Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses; May
14, Temple Beth El; June 11,
Adat Shalom. Each service
will begin at 8:30 p.m.

chairpersons for their annual
fund-raiser, the Evening of
Brilliance, 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at
the Ritz Carlton — Dearborn.
Honorary chairpersons are
