Storytellers, dancers, magi-
cians and folklorists are all
part of the 1992-93 Kids'
Koncerts Series. Koncerts
take place on Saturdays 1:30
p.m.-2:15 p.m. in Room 115 of
the Parks and Recreation
building. There is a charge. A
party room is available at no
cost for groups of 10 or more
based on availability.
The 1992-93 season will
begin Oct. 24 with the magic
of Michael Jacobson. Singer,
songwriter Marc Thomas will
be the guest Nov. 14. The
Grin Getters Act of Gloria
Walther and Jean Nucilli will
perform Jan. 16 with clown
antics.
Feb. 13 will feature African
folklorist, Teekani Safiya. She
will present the culture of L
West Africa through music,
dance and stories. Mime,
storyteller and juggler Tom
Foote will entertain March
13. Nancy Henk will present
her magical miniature April
24.
The lifesize puppets of the
Hip Squeak Puppet Produc-
tion will entertain May 22.
The season will close with the
creative movement and
storytelling of Maureen
Schiffman and her puppet
CoCo June 12.
