Plans Program

An Afternoon of Sonatas
. .. Plus will be the program
for the opening meeting of the
Music Study Club of
Metropolitan Detroit 12:15
p.m. Sept. 22, at the Birm-
ingham Temple. There will be
a meeting at 1 p.m.; the pro-
gram will begin at 1:15 p.m.
The featured artists will be
Steven Rosenfeld — piano,
and Elizabeth Rowin —
violin. There is a charge for
Guests.
Steven Rosenfeld, a native
of Syracuse, N.Y., received his
doctorate in piano perfor-
mance from the State Univer-
sity of New York at Stony
Brook. He has performed in
solo and chamber music
recitals at the University of
Michigan and Oakland
University.
Elizabeth Rowin is a
member of the violin and
chamber music faculty at
Oakland University. She
holds a Bachelor and Master
of Music degree from the
Mannes College of Music in
New York City, as well as a
Specialist degree in violin
performance from the Univer-
sity of Michigan.

There will be games and ac-

children, including kite mak-
ing, calligraphy, origami,
