Economic Forum
Slates Speaker

The future of Wayne Coun-
ty and its relationship to
Michigan will be the topic of
Wayne County Executive Ed-
ward McNamara's address at
the next Economic Forum
luncheon noon June 15 at the
Radisson Plaza Hotel in
Southfield.
The gathering is sponsored
by the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit.
A former eight-term mayor
of Livonia, Mr. McNamara
played an instrumental role
in bringing major economic
developments to the city
while recording '16 years of
balanced budgets. As chief ex-
ecutive officer of the fourth
largest county in the United
States, he has worked to erase
the county's budget deficit
which stood at $135 million
when he took office five years
ago.
A sign-language interpreter
will be present. There is a
charge for the luncheon,
payable at the door. For
details, call Fern Hoberman
Kepes, 642-4260.
