Fair, Graduation

Yeshivat Akiva sudents will
present a Torah Fair June 1-2.
Students from all classes have
been preparing projects that
demonstrate their knowledge
of the portion of the Torah
that they have studied during
the past year.
The public is invited to view
the exhibits.
Fourteen students will
graduate from Akiva Hebrew
Day School at its 19th corn-
mencement exercises 7:30
p.m. June 11 at United
Hebrew Schools.

achieved excellence and will
continue Judaic studies in
Israel. Rabbi Zev Shimansky
will present the Frieda Stoll-
man Memorial Award in
memory of Mrs. Stollman
who played such an impor-
tant role in the development
of the school. The Young
Israel of Greenfield also
presents an annual award.

Offer Cantata

Fourteen students of the
Shaarey Zedek Hebrew High
School will be confirmed 10
a.m. May 31. The confir-
mands have completed a year
of special study with the rab-
bis and cantors of the
congregation.
The confirmands will pre-
sent a cantata, The Founda-
tions of Our Faith, which they
have written with the
assistance of Mrs. Karen
Katz. The presentation will
be under the direction of Can-
tor Najman. A reception will
be held afterward.
