Spanish vocal and guitar
music — and the final concert
of its "From Spain with Love"
War Memorial Series 3:30
p.m. March 21 at the Grosse
Pointe War Memorial.
The program will include
vocal selections by soprano
Earnestine Nimmons accom-
panied by pianist Fedora
Horowitz. Guitarist Michael
Stockdale will perform solo
works. He will be joined by
DSO violinist Geoffrey Ap-
plegate in duets.
Dancer and choreographer
Peter Sparling of Ann Arbor
Dance Works will perform a
solo to J.S. Bach's Chaconne
played by Mt Applegate.

Warren Band
Sets Final Concert
The Warren Concert Band
will celebrate its 20th an-
niversary with a final concert
for the 1991-1992 season 3:30
p.m. April 5 in the Warren
Woods Fine Arts Auditorium.
Joining the band will be the
Warren Community Chorus,
directed by Kingsley Sears.
The City of Warren also will
give the Cultural Commis-
sion Awards, Optimists
Awards and Memorial
Scholarships. A birthday cake
complete with candles will be
served to all concert goers
during intermission.
