Before his performances, the violinist demonstrates the musical instructions Vivaldi wrote for his piece — how to cre- ate the sounds, for instance, of teeth chattering, feet stamping and a dog barking, with music. "It's one of the most famous pieces ever recorded, but peo- ple don't realize that Vivaldi wrote specific instructions," said Mr. Heifetz, who plays a Stradi- varius De Chaponay, made in 1722. "It paints so many vivid pictures." ❑ Chamber Ensemble Sets Final Concert LET US AT BUDDY'S DO THE WORK!
