The Hilberry Theatre,
celebrating its 30th anniver-
sary season in 1992-93, and
the Bonstelle Theatre, laun-
ching its 42nd season under
Wayne State University's
auspices, announce 12 pro-
ductions to be presented from
October 1992 through mid-
May 1993.
Edmond Rostand's Cyrano
de Bergerac and Hamlet are
among the highlights of the
Hilberry's anniversary
celebration.
The season will open with
Rumors. It also will include
Nothing Sacred, a new stage
version of Turgenev's Fathers
and Sons by George Walker;
Tom Stoppard's comedy of

Life and Times of Hank
Greenberg. This film will

focus on Hall-of-Famer "Ham-
mering" Hank Greenberg
whose baseball career during
the '30s and '40s captured the
importance and spirit of base-
ball for Americans, especial-
ly immigrant Jews.
Final shooting of the
documentary will resume in
April and the film will be
released in time for 1993
spring training.
