Rabbi Speaks
At Midrasha
Rabbi Irwin Groner of Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek will
be the speaker at a lunch and
learn program noon March 26
at the United Hebrew Schools
building. Rabbi Groner will
speak on "Differences Bet-
ween the Jewish and Chris-
tian Views on Euthanasia."
Rabbi Groner is president of
the Rabbinical Assembly. He
is a member of the board of
governors of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit, the Rabbinic Cabinet
of the United Jewish Appeal,
and the Board of Governors of
the United Synagogue.
A kosher deli lunch will be
served with the lecture im-
mediately following. The pro-
gram is open to the communi-
ty. There is a charge.
Subsequent lectures will be
held April 30 with Monsignor
Alex J. Brunett, pastor of
Shrine of the Little Flower,
speaking on "A Catholic
Looks at Judaism," and May
21 with Rabbi Joseph Gut-
mann, adjunct curator of the
Detroit Institute of Arts,
speaking on "Possible Jewish
Origins of Christian Art."
