Shaarey Zedek Productions
will present during the
month of March a program for
Jewish Music Month. The
following musicians will per-
form and be interviewed.
Betty Kowalsky is a pianist,
teacher and adjudicator.
Jerome Stasson has been a
violin teacher in the Detroit
public schools for many years
as a violin teacher.
Avra Weiss is a cantorial
soloist. She has been a choir-
member with the Shaarey
Zedek choir, as well as having
a teaching career in both
public and private schools.
She will be accompanied on
this program by Natalie Con-
rad, music director of Temple
Kol Ami.
Janet Pont is the director of
the Shaarey Zedek Nursery
School. She will sing with and
play the piano for Geri Levit,
host and producer of the show.
Karen Katz will provide
narration.
Following are the dates and

Music Month
TV Show

The Michigan Opera
Theatre will perform 7:30
p.m. March 22 at the Birm-
ingham Temple. The produc-
tion, titled Bon MOT, will
consist of Mozart's one-act
comic opera The Impresario
as well as favorite opera and
operetta selections.
The second half of the pro-
gram will feature the music of
Puccini, Strauss and Gilbert
an d Sullivan.
An afterglow with the per-
formers will follow.
