Registration for adult
studio art classes will begin
the third week of December
at the Southfield Civic
Center, Parks and Recreation
Building.
The classes include figure
drawing, painting and water-
colors and oils, ceramics,
calligraphy, copperplate
calligraphy and monoprints.
Classes begin Jan. 13 and
will be held at the Burgh Art
Center, Civic Center Drive

forrnance schedule with a con-
cert 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at the
Parkcrest Apartments in
Southfield. This concert will
include Broadway, classical
and popular music.
Bel Canto is a women's
choral group cosponsored by
the City of Southfield.

Concert Set
For Children

Meadow Brook Theatre and
Meadow Brook Music
Festival will present the Song
Sisters in a `concert 11 a.m.
Dec. 21 at Meadow Brook
Theatre.
The Song Sisters, Chris
Barton and Julie Austin, per-
form children's music on a
variety of folk instruments in-
cluding guitar, banjo, ham-
mered dulcimer, autoharp.
The performance will last
about one hour and is not
recommended for children
under age three. Doors will
open at 10:30 a.m. Seating is
reserved. Tickets are
available through the
Meadow Brook box office,
377-3300.
