Rights Bicentennial Celebra-
tion concert 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15
at Orchestra Hall.
This concert, in honor of the
200th anniversary of the
ratification of the Bill of
Rights in 1791, will feature
works of Americana, such as
those by Aaron Copland, Mor-
ton Gould and Duke
Ellington.
A portion of proceeds from
ticket sales will benefit the
Detroit Symphony Civic Or-
chestra Summer Scholarship
Program, helping to send suc-
cessful applicants to In-
terlochen this summer.
