According to a poll con-
ducted by George Gallup,
Jr., U.S. Jews vote Democrat
— but a little less so than in
the past. In 1986, 50 per cent
of American Jews were
Democrats and 16 per cent
Republicans. In 1966, the
figures were 64 per cent and
nine per cent.
