"Puttin' on the Ritz," a
fashion celebration, will be
held on Sunday, Nov. 17, at
12:30 p.m. at the Ritz
Carlton. This gala benefit
for the National Kidney
Foundation will showcase
sensational fashions, pro-
vide an array of chocolate
desserts and hold a silent
auction. Some of the com-
mittee members include:

Levenson Stay, Marilyn
Habsburg, Sherry
Margolis and Norma,
Zager.
SUPREME EVENING
An evening with former
Supreme Mary Wilson
will be held Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.
at Rackham Auditorium in
Detroit. Also featured will
be Dayna Eubanks and
Las Vegas comedian David
Keserson. The performance
will benefit the Michigan
Cancer Foundation.
MOT SEASON
Birmingham native
Rochelle Rosenthal was
recently in the Michigan
Opera Theatre's perfor-
mance of Candide. Ms.
Rosenthal, a mezzo soprano,
played the old lady. Follow-
ing Candide, the MOT will
present Gilbert and
Sullivan's most widely per-
formed operetta, The
Mikado. CI
