Israeli broadcaster Freda
Keet will address a Jewish
Federation Women's Division
Combined Gifts meeting on
behalf of the 1992 Allied
Jewish Campaign 9:30 a.m.
Oct. 30 at the home of Linda
Goldman.
The gathering, which will
include a continental
breakfast, is for Campaign
contributors of $365 or more
to the Campaign.
Ms. Keet is a television and
radio program editor and
director with Israel's national
television and radio service.
She also is responsible for
nightly information programs
in English on short wave
radio.
Born in Rhodesia, now
known as Zimbabwe, Ms.
Keet was educated in Cape
Town University in South
Africa. She chose an acting
career and in England joined
the Royal Academy of
Dramatic Art. She later
worked for the British Broad-
casting Corp. in Africa,
becoming the first woman an-
nouncer on Rhodesian radio.
The event is being organiz-
ed by Susan Pappas, chair-
man of the Women's Division
Pre-Campaign Section; Diane
Perlman, chairman of the
Kadima Section; and Nancy
Glass, chairman of the Koach
Section.
