Mark Schiff, a comedian
from Los Angeles, will appear
8:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Mark
Ridley's Comedy Castle for a
benefit in support of
Aleynu/Aish HaTorah of
Detroit.
Aleynu, an organization
which has pioneered Jewish
adult education, has rein-
troduced many Jews to
Jewish learning and skills.
Mr. Schiff has been study-
ing in Aish Los Angeles for
several years now. He jokes
about becoming a rabbi, but
has appeared on Johnny Car-
son six times.
