Prepare vanilla pudding according to directions on the package or
make your own pudding using skim milk. Cool.
Before serving, fold in the drained mandarin oranges and the
sherry. Serve in individual glass dishes garnished with the toasted
slivered nuts.

host its 68th annual Artist
Concert, a scholarship
benefit, 3 p.m. Oct. 20 at
Berkley High School
Auditorium. The proceeds of
this concert will be used to
award scholarships to young
Michigan musicians of
unusual talent. The event
will feature violinist Scott
Yoo in recital, accompanied
by pianist Max Levinson.
At the age of 16, Mr. Yoo
won First Prize in the 1988
Josef Gingold International
Violin Competition in Brazil.
He was a winner in the Young
Concert Artists International
Auditions and gave his New
York recital debut under that
organization's auspices.
Mr. Yoo was born in Japan
and was brought to the
United States as an infant.
He began to study the violin
at the age of three.

Opens Season
The Players Guild of Dear-
born will open its 1991-1992
season with the com-
edy/drama, Vanities. Set in
the 1960s and '70s, Vanities is
the story of three female best
friends and the changes they
undergo during a ten-year
period.
Vanities will open 8 p.m.
Sept. 20. Other performances
will be Sept. 21, 26, 27 and 28
at 8 p.m., and Sept. 22 at 2:30
p.m.
