The speaker will be Hope
Palmer. Dr. Palmer, in charge
of art history lectures and
special projects for the Detroit
Institute of Arts, is a pro-
fessor of art and art history at
Henry Ford Community Col-
lege and lecturer for the Bir-
mingham Bloomfield Art
Association.
A lunch will be served.

The Yeshiva Gedolah will
establish a Torah learning
program for women only. The
study program will consist of
monthly lectures presented-
by women specialists in Torah
education. Marcie Orley and
Lori Garon are the 1991 co-
chairmen for the Yeshiva
Gedolah Women's Torah
program.
The first lecture is schedul-
ed for 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at the
Franklin Racquet Club. Baby-
sitting services will be
available on premises. Re-
freshments will be provided.
The speaker will be Dr.
Esther Shkop, director of the
Anne M. Blithstein Teachers
Institute, Hebrew Theological
College. Dr. Shkop received
her Ph.D. in public policy
analysis from the University
of Illinois, Chicago, a master's
in biblical studies from
Shapell College for Women
and a bachelor of arts degree
in English literature and
philosophy from University of
Denver. Dr. Shkop will speak
on "Feminine Imagery in the
Torah?'
