Temple Sisterhood
Hosts Art Historian

Dolores Pearl, art historian,
will speak at Temple Israel
Sisterhood luncheon noon,
Sept. 26 at the temple.
Besides her duties as docent
at the Terra Museum of
American Art in Chicago, Ms.
Pearl lectures about art and
conducts private guided tours
of the Art Institute of
Chicago.
Her topic will be
"Degenerate Art: the fate of
the Avant-Garde in Nazi Ger-
many."
Ms. Pearl's presentation
will include an exhibition of
avant-garde film and visual
art confiscated from German
museums and currently on
display at the Art Institute of
Chicago.
